[ET Net News Agency, 16 May 2018] Citi Research slashed its target price for Yixin
Group (02858) to HK$5.3 from HK$7.7, and retained its "buy" rating.
In light of intensified competitive environment and timing/traction of loan facilitation
business, the research house revised down its assumption for loan facilitation volume
which led to revision of transaction platform revenues and gross margins.
Citi adjusted its 2018-20 revenues/EPS forecasts by 3.2%/-27.3%, -2.3%/-31.6% and
0.0%/-18.3%. It added that the IFRS 9's impact on Yixin's financials would be an increase
in the level of provision for credit losses of its financial receivables, which will
reduce its net asset level correspondingly. (KL)
