KSL Holdings (08170) sees turnaround to loss for FY2017

[ET Net News Agency, 4 October 2017] KSL Holdings (08170) said it expects to record a
net loss for the year ended 31 July 2017 as compared with the net profit recorded for the
corresponding period in 2016.
The company considers that the Group's profit turned to loss mainly due to a decrease in
revenue derived from undertaking geotechnical works as contractor and contracting business
as a result of keen competition faced by the Group in obtaining new businesses and the
decrease in fair value of the financial assets at fair value through profit or loss
acquired during the year ended 31 July 2017.
Its annual results announcement will be published in October. (HL)
