[ET Net News Agency, 3 July 2019] C-MER Eye Care Holdings Limited (03309) said for the
six months ended 30 June 2019, the net profit of the group would substantially increase by
more than 100%, as compared with the financial results of the group for the six months
ended 30 June 2018.
The increase was due to (1) a significant increase in the amount of revenue of the group
of more than 30% as compared with the five months ended 31 May 2019; (2) a decrease in the
amount of net loss of the group's eye hospital in Beijing, which commenced business
operations in January 2018; and (3) a decrease in the amount of foreign exchange loss
arising from the decreased bank deposits denominated in Renminbi. (RC)
