[ET Net News Agency, 5 March 2021] SPT Energy Group Inc. (01251) said a subsidiary of
the company has successfully won the bid for the drilling services project of a tight gas
block of China United Coalbed Methane Corp. Ltd. (CUCBM). CUCBM is the only company of
CNOOC Limited (CNOOC) to develop unconventional oil and gas on land.
The project is a key project of CUCBM on tight gas block, with a tender amount of
approximately RMB115.24 million. For the lot under the winning bid, the planned workload
for 2021 is the provision of drilling engineering procurement construction (EPC) services
for 40 vertical/directional wells and three horizontal wells, which is expected to be
completed within this year. (RC)
