{I-bank focus}Citi cuts China Com Services (00552) to HK$7

[ET Net News Agency, 28 August 2019] Citi Research lowered its target price for China
Communications Services (CCS)(00552) to HK$7 from HK$8.3 and maintained its "buy" rating.
The research house said CCS's 1H net profit of Rmb1.7bn was largely in line with Citi's
estimates. HSBC believes non-telco business development and 5G should lead to faster
revenue/earnings growth in the next two years, though FY2019 margins will see pressure due
to telcos' pricing pressure and investments in non-telco businesses.
HSBC reduced its FY2019-21 earnings by 2-5% each year mainly on lower margin
assumptions. (KL)
