[ET Net News Agency, 19 March 2020] Jefferies Research lowered its target price for
Country Garden Services (CGS)(06098) to HK$27.54 from HK$28.89 to factor in higher
operational risk due to COVID-19 and maintained its "hold" rating.
The research house said CGS reported strong FY2019 results. During the results call,
management has expressed positive but conservative guidance for 2020, given COVID-19.
Jefferies believes CGS can maintain its strong revenue growth, but it is concerned about
its fast margin squeeze.
Jefferies said CGS is applying to renew its preferential tax rate in 2H, which means 10%
potential upside to Jefferies' FY2021-22 earnings forecasts if successful. (KL)
