[ET Net News Agency, 25 March 2020] Citi Research cut its target price for Henderson
Land Development (HLD)(00012) to HK$38.5 from HK$50.8 and maintained its "buy" rating.
In view of the current tough operating environment, HLD has suspended its 1-for-10 bonus
share for FY2019. Citi believes this may disappoint certain shareholders with high
expectations for that. That said, with the support of new IPs (investment properties) and
potential disposal of non-core assets, the research house believes HLD may possibly resume
this annual practice next year if the market is back to normal.
HLD has planned a total of 7 new projects to launch for sale in HK throughout 2020. The
decent launch pipeline in HK for 2020 with a total of 3,257 units, Citi noted. (KL)
