[ET Net News Agency, 11 May 2020] CLP Holdings Limited (00002) said in the first
quarter of 2020, sales of electricity within Hong Kong fell 1.4% compared with the same
period a year earlier to 6,758GWh, mainly due to the impact brought about by the COVID-19
outbreak. The pandemic adversely affected electricity sales in all sectors apart from the
residential sector, where sales rose as people spent more time at home.
The board of directors of the company today declared the first interim dividend for 2020
of HK$0.63 per share. (RC)
