[ET Net News Agency, 23 July 2018] China Tower Corporation Limited (00788) intends to
offer 43,114.8 million shares, representing 25% of enlarged share capital, in a global
offering, according to a term sheet.
Of which, the international offering comprises 40,959.1 million shares, while the Hong
Kong public offering covers 2,155.74 million shares, which is expected to start on 25
July.
The indicative offer price range from HK$1.26 to HK$1.58 per share. The company may
raise between HK$54.3-68.1 billion from the offering.
BOCI is joint bookrunner and joint lead manager of the deal.
Cornerstone Investors include: Hillhouse Funds (subscrbing US$400mn shares), OZ Funds
(US$300mn), Darsana Master Fund LP (US$175mn), Taobao China Holding (HK$784.8mn), CNPC
Capital (US$100mn), Invus Public Equities, L.P (US$100mn), Beijing Haidian District
State-owned Capital Operation and Management Center (US$98.5mn), ICBC Asset Management
Scheme Nominee (US$50mn, Wallong (Hong Kong) (US$50mn), and SAIC Motor HK Investment
(US$50mn).
The lock up period for cornerstone investor and other shareholders is 6 months. (KL)
