[ET Net News Agency, 30 November 2017] Goldman Sachs lifted its target price for Want
Want China Holdings (00151) to HK$5.3 from HK$5.1, and maintained its "sell" rating.
The research house updated its estimates to reflect Want Want's fiscal year change from
December to March. Its new FY2018-20 (March end) EPS estimates are RMB0.248/0.246/0.254
respectively.
Goldman now expects annual sales CAGR of 4% over FY2017-19, mainly from stablizing
industry growth as well as Want Want's expansion into modern trade/e-commerce/mom&baby
channel. However, it also expects GPM and OPM to shrink by 30 bps and 75bps respectively
over FY2018-19, due to higher selling expenses related to channel expansion and new
product promotion. (KL)
