[ET Net News Agency, 1 November 2017] Macquarie Research raised its target price for WH
Group Ltd (00288) to HK$9.1 from HK$9.3, and maintained its "outperform" rating.
The research house hosted a WH post-result NDR in Hong Kong and reaffirmed its positive
view of the company. It believes the US market's weakness in 4Q is well perceived by the
market and it is just a short-term hiccup. Meanwhile, China market's recovery and Europe
business growth could more than offset US business weakness in 4Q.
Macquarie lowered its 2017/2018 earnings forecast by 5%/2% due to lower margin
assumption. It noted that WH's share price has corrected by 13% in the last couple of
weeks and this has more than reflected market concerns about 4Q. Macquarie thinks now is a
good time to revisit the name for long-term investors. (KL)
