[ET Net News Agency, 14 December 2018] Nomura raised its target price for Link REIT
(00823) to HK$89.5 from HK$78.4 and upgraded its rating to "buy" from "neutral".
Link has announced the completion of its portfolio review. The research house thinks the
greatest significance of the completion is that Link can resume buybacks anytime from now
to Mar 2019, when Link enters into its blackout period for the company's FY19 (ending 31
Mar 2019) result.
Nomura also thinks that Link has a mixed track record in terms of carrying out disposals
or acquisitions within portfolio reviews, which don't have a strict definition. They
believe Link is still actively looking for further acquisition opportunities, especially
in Beijing. (RC)
