Xinyi Solar (00968) shareholders okay Xinyi Energy spinoff

[ET Net News Agency, 22 November 2018] Xinyi Solar Holdings Limited (00968) said that
the group's shareholders have approved the resolution relating to the spin-off of Xinyi
Energy at the EGM.
Xinyi Energy will continue to be the group's non-wholly owned subsidiary after the
completion of the spin-off.
"The spin-off is absolutely beneficial to the group as we can continue to enjoy the
economic benefits from the ongoing development of Xinyi Energy's solar farm operation
business, unlocking the group's true value, enhancing our competitive advantage and
eventually increasing shareholders' value," said Lee Yin Yee, B.B.S., Chairman of Xinyi
