[ET Net News Agency, 26 January 2018] UOB Kay Hian lifted its target price for Kingsoft
International Software (03888) to HK$32 from HK$28, and maintained its "buy" rating.
The research house noted that Kingsoft issued a positive profit alert and expects to
recognise a Rmb2bn disposal gain in 4Q 2017 on the back of the disposal of a 38% voting
right to the CEO of Cheetah Mobile.
UOBKH expects a strong 2018 outlook for Kingsoft driven by a strong games pipeline, WPS'
A-share IPO and solid cloud business growth. It also cut its 2017 revenue and non-GAAP net
profit forecasts by 2% and 6% respectively, due to the delay in the launch of the JX
Online III expansion pack and greater revenue contribution from games that involve
arrangements of revenue share with third parties, which lowers margins. (KL)
