According to a special report from Economic Information Daily on the 10th, Yuan Pharmaceuticals (00512) announced that its self-developed radioisotope conjugate drug GPN01530-2, intended for the diagnosis of solid tumors, has recently received Fast Track Designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The group stated that the Fast Track program aims to expedite and facilitate the review process for new drugs intended to treat serious or life-threatening conditions for which there are currently no effective treatments, and which demonstrate potential to address unmet medical needs. Candidate drugs granted Fast Track designation may be eligible for more frequent communication with the agency, priority review, and rolling review of new drug applications, thereby accelerating the development and approval process of the relevant drugs.
The group also noted that GPN01530-2 had previously received approval from the agency to initiate Phase I/II clinical studies for the diagnosis of solid tumors. (wh)
