[ET Net News Agency, 17 February 2020] Daiwa Research lifted its target price for
ZhongAn Online P&C Insurance (06060) to HK$28 from HK$20 and maintained its "buy" rating.
The research house expects considerably less net losses to be reported in ZA's upcoming
2019 results on 23 March due to a spike in investment income and better CoR (combined
ratio).
Daiwa believes ZA's health insurance business is well placed to benefit from rising
public awareness due to the coronavirus outbreak. ZA has recently launched its online
medical service cooperating with Miaoshou and connecting 600k doctors with patients.
Daiwa looks for a rapid 32% growth in the health insurance market for 2020 and 55% for
ZA, given its online distribution model. (KL)
