[ET Net News Agency, 12 January 2018] Daiwa Research lifted its target price for BOC
Aviation (BOCA)(02588) to HK$58 from HK$55, and maintained its "buy" rating.
The research house revisited its 2017-19 earnings for BOCA, following the release of its
operating data on 11 January and potential one-off gains from a reduced US tax rate.
Overall, Daiwa remains upbeat on its outlook for BOCA, given its anticipation of
sustainable solid aircraft deliveries in 2018 and the likely increase in disposal gains on
aircraft sales.
For 2018, it expects BOCA to achieve another solid delivery of 70 aircraft, on the back
of its 3Q 2017 commitment of 48 aircraft to be delivered for 2018 and likely potential
deliveries through purchases and leaseback (PLB) and pop-up orders. (KL)
