Hong Kong City Hall, Central | Musical 'Company'

Description

Bobby’s having a birthday… and you’re invited! Except... he’s also having a crisis! You see, as a bachelor living in New York, Bobby has the best of friends and a healthy dating life, but he’s also turning 35. What is that all about? Follow Bobby through his memories, his hopes, his fears, and general neuroses, as a cast of 15 talented actors and a live orchestra explore the tension between independence and intimacy, being balanced and living in extremes, and how we help each other find fulfillment.

COMPANY is the groundbreaking musical from the master Stephen Sondheim (Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd). The show plays with time and space in a revolutionary structure that created the modern concept musical. With a brisk, energetic score and witty dialogue, the show features the award-winning songs "Being Alive" and "(Not) Getting Married Today." Every audience member is sure to see reflections of themselves in (at least!) one of the vivid characters onstage. So come on over; COMPANY’s here!
