Green in Tuen Mun | Birdwatching Fun Day
Description
"Chirp~" "Chatter~"
Dear neighbors, please note that a group of precious "mysterious visitors" are preparing to land in Hong Kong!
As autumn arrives, large numbers of migratory birds fly south for the winter, searching for food and habitats in Hong Kong's wetlands, farmlands, or woodlands. Some migratory birds also make brief stops to replenish their energy. However, due to continuous habitat loss caused by development and pollution, the number of migratory birds in Hong Kong is gradually declining. To ensure the survival of migratory birds and other wildlife, we must effectively protect their habitats.
This month, our "Green in Tuen Mun" will coincide with "World Migratory Bird Day" to bring you the #BirdwatchingFunDay, featuring exhibitions, booth games, and workshops to help you discover the traces of common migratory birds in Hong Kong, learn about bird habitats, understand the challenges birds face during migration, and learn tips for birdwatching! Quickly invite your friends and family to join the fun! The editor reminds you to always #TakeYourOwnGarbageWithYou when hiking to keep the environment clean and protect nature~
