Zhongda International (00909) said it reported a loss attributable to owners of HK$491 million for the year ended 31 December 2011, as compared to the net profit of HK$23.54 million for the previous financial year.
Its basic and diluted loss per share was HK45.29 cents.
The revenue from continuing operation amounted to HK$2.11 million, a decrease of 60.4% from a year earlier.
The decrease in turnover is mainly due to the deconsolidation of the results of operations of certain subsidiaries, whereas the net loss for FY2011 was mainly attributable to the recognition of impairment loss in respect of investments and amounts due from the said deconsolidated subsidiaries.
No final dividend will be distributed.
