Asian Citrus (00073) said it reported a loss attributable to shareholders of Rmb1,839.2 million for the year ended 30 June 2014, as compared to the profit of Rmb114 million for the previous financial year.
Its basic and diluted loss per share was Rmb1.483.

The adjusted core loss attributable to shareholders amounted to Rmb51.8 million, as compared to the profit of Rmb399.6 million for the previous year, reflecting the reduction in production yield of the orange crop and higher direct costs as a result of inclement weather; the decrease in the average selling prices of both oranges and processed fruit; and the loss relating to damage caused by Typhoon Rammasun.
No final dividend will be distributed.
