Bank of China (03988) said its net profit rose 4.9% to RMB41.41 billion for the three months ended 30 September 2014. Basic earnings per share was RMB0.15.
Net interest income rose 16% to RMB82.1 billion, while net fee and commission income edged up 0.2% to RMB19.95 billion. Impairment losses on assets soared 150% to RMB11.3 billion.
