China Oilfield Services Limited (02883) said its profit attributable to owners for the six months ended 30 June 2015 dropped 79.8% year-on-year to Rmb895 million.
Basic earnings per share were Rmb18.75 cents.
The revenue was Rmb12,089 million, a decrease of 24.1% from a year earlier.
In the first half of the year, affected by further deterioration in the global oilfield service market, both the utilization rate of the Group's large equipment and service price decreased, and there was impairment recognized for the assets and goodwill.
No interim dividend will be distributed.
