China Env Energy (00986) 1H loss widens to HK$108m; no div

    China Environmental Energy Investment (00986) said its loss attributable to owners for the six months ended 30 September 2015 widened to HK$108 million from HK$31.88 million for the same period last year.
  Basic loss per share was HK$0.03.
  The turnover was HK$31.28 million, an increase of 107.88% from a year earlier, which was mainly attributable to the contribution from the newly acquired businesses of  internet sales and services as well as the trading of petrochemical products.
  The increase in loss was mainly due to impairment loss on available-for-sale investment in respect of the company's investment in Pure Power Holdings Limited of about HK$68.97 million (2014: Nil); and goodwill impairment loss of about HK$19.2 million recognized for the six months ended 30 September 2015 (2014: Nil). No interim dividend will be distributed.
  Besides, China Environmental Energy agreed to sell the entire share capital of Asian Champion Limited for HK$58 million. The target holds 90% interests in HKOMall Limited, which is principally engaged in the business of online products sales, web design and maintenance services. Its business model is one of business-to-customer online retail store providing O2O (Online to Offline) solutions in Hong Kong and web design and consultancy services. It is estimated that the loss attributable to the disposal is around HK$2.86 million (before tax).
