China Aircraft Leasing (CALC) (01848) said its profit attributable to owners for the six months ended 30 June 2016 surged 105.7% year-on-year to HK$240 million.
The main reasons were due to increased lease income which is resulted from continued expansion of the scale of aircraft leasing business and gain from realisation of finance lease receivables.
Basic and diluted earnings per share were HK39.2 cents and HK37.9 cents.
Revenue and other income amounted to HK$1,027 million, an increase of 61.5% from a year earlier.
The proposed interim dividend is HK14 cents (2015: HK4 cents) per share, payable on or about 30 September 2016.
