NWS Holdings (00659) said its profit attributable to shareholders for the six months ended 31 December 2016 rose 10.4% year-on-year to HK$2,600.1 million.
Basic earnings per share were HK$0.68.
The revenue was HK$13,846 million, a decrease of 2.7% from a year earlier. Gross profit grew 5.7% year-on-year to HK$1,764.9 million.
The Group recorded an attributable operating profit of HK$2.519 billion, representing an increase of 5% from the same period last year.
The proposed interim dividend is HK$0.34 (2015: HK$0.31) per share, in scrip form with a cash option, which is payable on or about 15 May 2017.
