SINGAPORE, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Marketing + Media Alliance (MMA) announces the SMARTIES Asia Pacific 2026 Finalists, recognizing campaigns that demonstrate exceptional innovation and measurable business impact.

Four Channels, One Global Standard

For 2026, SMARTIES introduces a refined structure built around how marketing excellence operates in practice, uniting technology, creativity, media, and business impact. Finalists were evaluated across four core channels:

• Purpose Driven Marketing: Campaigns driving meaningful societal impact, advancing sustainability and inclusion.
• Impact Marketing: Campaigns delivering measurable business outcomes by strengthening brand relationships and driving growth.
• Media & Growth: Excellence in media strategy, demonstrating how integrated ecosystems grow audiences.
• Creative & Innovation Impact: Campaigns leveraging emerging technologies for unprecedented commercial results.

2026 Trends: AI, Purpose, and Transformative CX

"The Asia Pacific region has become the epicenter of global marketing innovation, and SMARTIES is the gold standard that separates true business impact from mere hype," said Rohit Dadwal, CEO of MMA APAC and Global Head of SMARTIES™ Worldwide. "The 2026 finalists prove that when deep cultural insights are powered by advanced AI and seamless customer experiences, the result is exponential growth. This shortlist is a masterclass in how modern marketing fundamentally anchors enterprise success."

Expert Judging and Global Recognition

To ensure the highest level of credibility, all submissions underwent an in-depth, two-stage evaluation. Campaigns were initially reviewed and scored by a Qualifying Jury composed of senior advertising ecosystem professionals. Following this, an esteemed final jury comprising exclusively of marketers, including CEOs and CMOs, assessed each campaign with a strict focus on quantifiable business impact.

"Asia Pacific consumers are among the most digitally fluent and culturally diverse in the world, and the best work this year met them exactly where they are. What impressed me most was how finalists blended sharp local insight with platforms built to scale, creating brands people genuinely love while delivering growth you can measure quarter after quarter," said Lucas Levy, Senior Director Marketing, SEA, Mondelēz International, and SMARTIES Asia Pacific 2026 Jury Chair.

Winners receive global recognition, including inclusion in the WARC 100 media rankings, RECMA's global agency scoring, and the MMA SMARTIES Business Impact Index.
