Hua Han Bio-Pharmaceutical (00587) said it entered into a cooperation framework agreement with The People's Government of Liupanshui City of Guizhou Province.
Under the pact, Liupanshui City People's Government shall invite Hua Han to participate in the reform of the medical service system of Liupanshui City in order to enhance the development of medical services in Liupanshui City.
Hua Han plans to invest in the construction of stem cells bank and stem cell anti-aging healthcare base in Liupanshui City and construct a stem cell private storage bank with a storage capacity of 200,000 units and stem cell public storage bank with a storage capacity of 1,000,000 units sourced from placenta, cord blood and umbilical cord at the end of year 2015. It undertakes to establish a large-scale medical management group in Liupanshui City with more than 4,000 beds and the capacity to accommodate the visit of two million patients every year.
