China Huiyuan Juice (01886) said its net profit attributable to equity holders for the six months ended 30 June 2014 dropped 82% year-on-year to Rmb20.49 million.
Its basic earnings per share were Rmb0.8 cent, with a diluted loss of Rmb7.9 cents.
The revenue was Rmb1,966 million, a decrease of 4.7% from a year earlier.
Gross profit margin decreased 1.4 percentage points from 30.8% for the six months ended 30 June 2013 to 29.4% for the same period in 2014, which is primarily a result of the decrease in sales volume, which resulted in the increase in share of fixed cost and the increase in depreciation.
No interim dividend will be distributed.
