Tonly Electronics (01249) said its profit attributable to owners of the parent for the nine months ended 30 September 2014 rose 27.4% year-on-year to HK$113 million.
Its basic and diluted earnings per share were HK75.33 cents. The turnover was HK$4,012 million, an increase of 25.1% from a year earlier. Gross profit margin widened to 12.5% from 11.9% for the corresponding period of 2013.
The overall sales revenue of video products reached HK$1,586.5 million, an increase of 0.4% year-on-year. The sales revenue of audio products was HK$1,495.7 million, up 39.5% year-on-year. The sales revenue of media boxes products reached HK$499.7 million, an increase of 3,618.1% year-on-year. The sales revenue of other products (mainly ABS-s products) reached HK$430.3 million, a decrease of 20.5% year-on-year.
For the three months ended 30 September 2014, the net profit of Tonly Electronics rose 52.3% year-on-year to HK$40.51 million. The turnover grew 30.1% year-on-year to HK$1,633 million.
