Vigers Research said vacancy rate of office buildings in Hong Kong Island East stays low at 2.9%, which is the lowest among all districts in Hong Kong.
As there were large-scale redevelopment projects launched in Hong Kong Island East in the past few years, the affected tenants needed to search for new office locations in the same area, leading to the dropping vacancy rate, Vigers said.
