Hanergy Thin Film Power (00566) said it noticed that the Financial Times published a press article on 24 March trying to draw an innuendo that the controlling shareholder and its chairman Li Hejun, was/is engaging in market misconduct activities and was/is manipulating share trading and the share price of the shares of the company.
Hanergy said Li denied the allegation of Financial Times, and confirmed that all his share trading activities had been properly recorded and disclosed. The company reserves all its rights of taking necessary legal actions.
