Emperor Capital Group (00717) proposed to raise up to HK$1.31 billion by way of rights issue, and placing of new shares under specific
mandate.
The group proposed to raise HK$658 million by issuing 1,314 million rights shares to shareholders at HK$0.5 per share on the basis of one rights share for every two existing ordinary shares held.
Meanwhile, it also proposed to place 1,300 million new shares at HK$0.5 per share. The new shares represents 49.39% of the existing issued share capital of the group.
