China Chengtong Development (00217) said it subscribed for senior unsecured fixed rate notes due 2018 issued by HNA Group (International) Company Limited in the principal amount of US$30 million (equivalent to about HK$233 million).
The interest rate of notes is 8.125% per annum payable semi-annually in arrear.
Serving as the offshore investment and foreign capital management platform of HNA Group Co., Limited, the issuer seeks to acquire and maintain a diversified portfolio of high quality businesses and stable income source. The issuer makes strategic acquisitions to achieve vertical and horizontal integration in the aviation, finance, retail and logistics value chains of HNA Group.
