Niraku GC Holdings, Inc. (01245) said its profit attributable to shareholders for the year ended 31 March 2016 dropped 94% year-on-year to JPY181 million.
Basic and diluted earnings per share were JPY0.15.
The revenue was JPY30,995 million, a decrease of 5.8% from a year earlier. Gross pay-ins were JPY158,095 million, down 10% year-on-year.
The Board has resolved to declare a final dividend of JPY0.1 (or HK0.7 cent) per share, payable on 7 July 2016.
Niraku also agreed to acquire 66.7% of the issued shares of Nha Trang Holdings Limited at HK$100 million. The target group principally engages in the operation of restaurant outlets in Hong Kong. It currently owns and operates seven restaurant outlets under the brands "BEP" and "Nha Trang" serving Vietnamese cuisine; and one restaurant outlet under the brand "Pinot Duck" serving contemporary Chinese cuisine.
