HK stocks opened sharply higher on Thursday after the Dow closed at all-time high again overnight. The Hang Seng Index opened up 226 points to 23,027. The H-share index rose 110 points to 9,940.
Market heavyweights were higher. HSBC (00005) gained 1.8% to HK$66.65. China Mobile (00941) put on 1% to HK$84.95. Tencent (00700) added 1.4% to HK$192.8. HKEx (00388) gained 0.7% to HK$195.
