China Harmony New Energy Auto (03836) said its executive director and chief executive officer Liu Fenglei acquired 148,000 shares through on-market purchases on 18 May for a total of HK$444,000.
A senior management of Harmony New Energy Auto acquired 50,000 shares on 17 May through on-market purchases.
After the purchase, Liu holds about 0.034% interest in Harmony New Energy Auto. Liu was also granted 5 million share options on 9 May.
The acquirers are confident about the future prospects of Harmony New Energy Auto and the automobile industry in China and believe that there will be continued growth and development of the company. They do not rule out the possibility of further increasing their shareholdings in Harmony New Energy Auto as they feel appropriate in the future.
