Nan Nan Resources Enterprise (01229) said it reported a profit attributable to owners of HK$48.27 million for the year ended 31 March 2017, as compared to the loss of HK$79.61 million for the previous financial year.
The net effect of increase in profit was mainly due to the turnaround from loss to gain on change in fair value and loss arising from modification of convertible bond of about HK$129 million and no impairment loss on intangible assets and property, plant and equipment incurred during the year.
Basic and diluted earnings per share were HK6.31 cents and HK0.65 cent.
Revenue amounted to HK$73.02 million, an increase of 22% from a year earlier.
No final dividend will be distributed.
Nan Nan Resources had applied for the resumption of trading in shares this morning.
