CNNC International (02302) said its loss attributable to owners for the six months ended 30 June 2017 narrowed to HK$684,000 from HK$12.99 million for the same period in 2016.
The material decrease in loss was primarily due to a significant increase in revenue and the gross profit generated from the trading of natural uranium business of the Group in the period under review.
Basic loss per share was HK0.14 cent.
Revenue amounted to HK$80.39 million, an increase of 250% from a year earlier, as the Group was able to sell part of its inventory of natural uranium products at the highest price during the reporting period.
No interim dividend will be distributed.
