China Taiping Insurance (00966) said its profit attributable to the shareholders for the year ended 31 December 2017 rose 27% year-on-year to HK$6,136 million.
Basic and diluted earnings per share were HK$1.636.
Total premiums written and policy fees amounted to HK$178,676 million, an increase of 19.7% from a year earlier.
PRC Life insurance's new business value was HK$13,638 million, an increase of 49.6% from a year earlier.
The proposed final dividend is HK10 cents (2016: HK10 cents) per share, payable on or about 18 July.
