HK stocks opened higher on Thursday despite the reversal of the Dow to a softer close overnight. The Hang Seng Index opened up 248 points to 30,532. The H-share index rose 119 points to 12,105.
Big caps were all higher. HSBC (00005) edged up 0.3% to HK$75.9. HKEx (00388) was up 0.7% to HK$257.6. Tencent (00700) gained 1% to HK$404. China Mobile (00941) added 0.3% to HK$72.8. AIA (01299) put on 0.8% to HK$69.6.
