Qingling Motors (01122) said it entered into an agreement with Isuzu Motors Limited in 2012 to engage Isuzu for the development of a production information management system at JPY444 million (equivalent to about Rmb35.76 million).
Phrase I of the management system was completed in October 2013 and has been tested and accepted by the parties, while Phrase II is expected to be completed by November 2014.
The management system is to satisfy Qingling Motors' need for improved informatization of coordination and management of its production, increased efficiency, and enhanced integrated manufacturing capacity.
