HK stocks opened sharply higher on Friday following the strong rally of the Dow overnight. The Hang Seng Index opened up 326 points to 23,158. The H-share index also rose 122 points to 11,453.
HSBC (00005) edged up 0.8% to HK$72.75. China Mobile (00941) put on 1.6% to HK$90.75. Tencent (00700) jumped 4.6% to HK$117. HKEx (00388) added 0.8% to HK$171.
