Glencore (00805) said it reported a net income attributable to equity holders of the parent of US$1,379 million for the year ended 31 December 2016, as compared to the loss of US$4,964 million for the previous financial year.
Basic and diluted earnings per share were US$0.1.
The revenue was US$152,948 million, an increase of 3.8% from a year earlier.
Adjusted EBITDA amounted to US$10,268 million, up 18.1% year-on-year.
The directors have recommended a 2016 financial year cash distribution of US7 cents per share amounting to US$996 million.
