HK stocks opened firmer on Tuesday despite the slight drop of the Dow overnight. The Hang Seng Index opened up 87 points to 26,609. The H-share index rose 28 points to 10,535.
Blue chips were mixed. HSBC (00005) nudged up 0.1% to HK$60. HKEX (00388) edged up 0.8% to HK$239. Tencent (00700) added 0.4% to HK$329.4. China Mobile (00941) fell 0.6% to HK$66. AIA (01299) jumped 1% to HK$74.5.
