MEITUAN-W (03690) and AIA (01299) registered HK$426.43 million and HK$391.94 million of short sales, accounting for 5.17% and 4.75% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 27.68% and 15.87% of respective stock's turnover.
HSCEI ETF closed up HK$0.18, or 0.31%, to HK$58.32. TENCENT ended up HK$3.6, or 1.25%, to HK$292.2. MEITUAN-W fell HK$0.9, or 0.96% to HK$92.4. AIA declined by HK$1.3, or 2.37%, to HK$53.5.
